This is an old abandoned house about a mile from where I live. I took several pictures in color and also some in Black and white. I like the black and white pictures much more. I think the black and white brings out the harshness of the winter and intensifies how "creepy" it really is. Out of the two photos I like the one on the bottom better. I'm not sure exactly why, it's just the angle and I like that it doesn't show the road. It looks more old fashioned.

But I also like the second photo, because it doesn't show the road... And because you get to see the house from a closer view.

I like black and white photos as well.I like how the barren tree sits to the side adding a bit more creepiness to the old house. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteGreat job using color to bring out emotion! The photo you liked most is very pleasing to the eye. I think probably the road detracts rather than adds to the shot because it's not a very interesting foreground.
